Halloween

    This year has gone by way too quick. I swear it was just summer break! I can not believe Halloween is already this Sunday. My family has already gotten candy for the trick or treaters in advance but not too far in advance. We probably will not have too many since there is less little kids in our neighborhood. I still need to figure out what I am gonna dress up as. Probably like a cowgirl or something like that. No wait I got it. I'll put on my shark onesie and be a shark. Alright costume done. I'll only have the costume on when I pass out candy to the kids. There are other things that I am gonna do this week in order to prepare for Halloween on Sunday.

   

The first thing is to watch some Halloween movies and episodes. I usually watch like Halloween episodes from old shows. One that I have watched is an episode of Bewitched. If you don't know what Bewitched it was a 1960s show about a women who was a witch and her husband who was not. The episode was about on Halloween Samantha's, the witch, husband, Darren had an important meeting. But he accidentally made his mother in law mad so she turned him into a werewolf. One Halloween movie I watch that is usually the day before Halloween is, It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. My family and I always watch it the day before Halloween, it's kind of a tradition. These are the only two I am gonna mention but I do watch more movies and episodes then this. 

    Next thing is carving pumpkins. We usually got to the pumpkin patch towards the beginning of October. We go to the orchard and get pumpkins and cider. carving pumpkins does not happen until the week of Halloween. This is to keep them from rotting. We were gonna carve them on Thursday but it got too busy so we did them Friday. I usually carve two pumpkins but this year I am only doing one. What I am carving is Mimikyu from Pokémon. I wanted to do something different. And I know the kids will love it. 

    The last thing is play the skeleton game. You are probably wondering what the skeleton game is. Well it is this old game where you try to build a skeleton by spinning the wheel. We play it before Halloween or on Halloween and put on Halloween music. Also the skeletons will glow in the dark if you leave them out in the light then turn off the lights. I'll put a picture of the game in this post. My dad always seems to win but complains when he lands on a stake. Once you get 

three stakes you have to put a body part back. But those are the main things I usually do to get ready for Halloween and have a good time.

Cat Compilation

 As usual I had no idea what to write for my blog post. Off to the internet I went. I thought for a minute and decided to go to YouTube. This sounds about normally for me. When I do not know what to do I just go to YouTube. I scrolled down to see what was on my Home page and saw Looney Tunes came up. That made me think of my childhood shows that I use to watch when I was little. Some shows were like Dora, the Backyardigans, Ni Hao Ki-lan, Oswald, and Invader Zim just to name a few. Life was so much easier when I was younger. Anyway, I scrolled down more to see Best Scared Cats Compilation 2020. Obviously I clicked on it and watched it.

    

    I just finished watching the video and I am glad I did. It's nice to take a break away from homework. I think it's hilarious how some cats in that video will jump to the sound of the object. Like there was one in there that was jumping every time the printer made a sound while it was printing. Or the cat that was jumping to the beat of the beatboxing. It's also hilarious when the cat saw it's reflection and had no idea what to do. Or when another cat sneaks up behind a cat. One flaw in this video though is towards the middle to the end it just shows cats being scared with tacky music playing in the background. It would've been better without the music and just the sound from the videos. But maybe the videos did not have any sound in the first place. It was still funny regardless.

    It's funny how some cats get scared by just a person looking at them and not noticing. And then they make this big deal out of it and run away as fast as they can. Or get scared by something they think they saw. Or even absolutely nothing. It just goes to show that cats radiate crackhead energy. They will climb wherever they want and do whatever they want. Yes sometimes cats can be chill but a lot of the times they just act like they have the most energy in the world. Cats will always be entertaining no matter what. That's probably why there is so many video compilations. Now I shall go watch some more before I have to finish my homework.

Memes

     Let's be honest most of us have no idea what to write for our blogs. Most of also usually write our blogs last minute, most likely on Sunday and change it to Friday. I am guilty of that I will admit. For this week I also had no idea what to write about for this blog. So I decided to go on YouTube using this account. It's a new account so I thought, where will YouTube take me. I go onto YouTube and look at the first page. The first things that come up are a pop music playlist, a cat hissing at the vet, and I am not making this up but Idiots in Cars #14. I clicked on the video and watched a few seconds of it. And let me just say the title is an accurate description. Then I scrolled down a little to a video called, chaotic memes that broke the internet. I clicked on it and watched it. I mean who doesn't like to watch a meme video. 

    Let's just say I was not disappointed by the video. I will put the video in this post so anyone can watch it. Be warned it is a 15 minute video. There was some memes that I did not like but you'll always find one or a few that you find annoying or not funny. But it still made my day especially when I know I have an organic chemistry exam next week. Memes always seem to make people's day. I mean who doesn't want to waste time and watch memes instead of doing their work. And there are always new ones being made so you'll always have a new one to see and laugh about. I think everyone has at least made some what of a meme. I wonder if memes will ever get old and nobody will make them anymore. So far they have not and been lasting for years. 

    I don't remember what the oldest meme I have seen is. But I remember when I was explained what a meme was. That was like freshman year of high school. Anyways memes will always make someone's day and probably one of the best ways to cheer someone up. So take a break from working and look/watch some memes. But remember to always check the time and that you get your work done on time. Memes will cause you to loose track of time.

Video Games

     I do sometimes play video games, but can I really call myself a gamer? I don't think I would. I have not played games like Dead By Daylight or Call of Duty or Far Cry 6 or Apex Legends. To be honest, I do not know if I would like those games. Maybe if I had a group of people to play with then I probably would. But since I don't I don't think I will ever play those games. In the next paragraphs I am gonna write about the two games I have played recently.

    The first game I have played that I have probably spent the most time on is Animal Crossing. It is on the Nintendo Switch. I have spent countless hours trying to create my island but it never seems to be right. One minute I am putting all the villagers houses in one area on my island the next I'm spreading them all around. And the shop never gives me the good furniture for my house. I just wanna decorate my house the best I can but no. Plus it's hard to get the villagers you want. It takes like 100 Nook Miles Tickets to find the villager you want or one that you can tolerate. 

Nook Miles Tickets are tickets you can buy that you take to the airport. Once you get to the airport you talk to the dodo and say you want to use your Nook Miles ticket. Then you'll be taken to another island and there will be fruit, sometimes bamboo, rocks, and a villager. You'll only see a villager if you have a plot open. I play Animal Crossing at least once a week but if I have a lot of homework then I won't. It can be fun but sometimes it can get boring. So sometimes I will take a break from the game.

    Another game I have spent quite some time on is Genshin Impact. Where I have left is the part of the story quest that has made me the most frustrated. It says characters are required to be level 26. Mine are over that and I still can't defeat the villain. So I immediately stopped and decided to take a long break from it. The only reason I got into this game is because one of my friends played it and I figured why not. I finally just got co-op mode for it so we can finally play together as long as we are not doing story mode quests. You have to do those on your own. 

    I might end up playing one or both these games probably this weekend if there isn't a lot of homework to do. Plus I hear that animal crossing is gonna have an update in November and I can not wait. Also I can not wait to play with my friend in Genshin Impact. I do recommend these games if you want to play them. But if they are not your thing then that is fine as well. Hopefully in the future I can expand what games I play and can expand who I play with.

    

Pets I Want to Own in the Future

One pet I want to own in the future is a leopard gecko. They are so adorable and a great pet for people who want to own a reptile. They are small and not too heavy. Specifically I want a snow leopard gecko (shown in the picture). I mean they are easy to take care of and don't require lots of attention but I will still give the reptile some attention. I mean how could you hate them! I will obviously research on how to take care of them. What the necessities are and what would be the best enclosure. I think asking an expert would be the best option and looking up videos. A leopard gecko is probably the only reptile I would want to own. I do not think I would be able to handle a snake or anything like that. Don't get me wrong I like snakes but I would be afraid it would get out of the enclosure. A leopard gecko is not the only pet I would want to own in the future.

    Another pet I want to own is a dog specifically a Saint Bernard. I have always loved Saint Bernards as a child. One of my neighbors has one and he is the sweetest. They are one of the kindest dogs you can get besides like a golden retriever. There is only one problem if I owned a Saint Bernard. It would weigh more than me and if it tried to sit in my lap then it would crush my legs. But would it be worth it to receive love from the Saint Bernard..... YES! Plus they have a low chance of biting people especially the ones they love. Another con would be the medical bills for the dog. This makes the dog one of the more expensive breeds to take care of. So I should probably make sure I am finically stable before I get one. A pro would be they are cute and can make you laugh. Having a Saint Bernard would not be boring I can tell you that. 

    The last pet I would want is a cat. I don't really have a specific type I want but I think I would want to adopt one. I feel like more dogs get adopted than cats do to be honest. And I would want to adopt an older cat. I've noticed the older ones, even with dogs, get less adopted because people want younger dogs or cats. I've never actually owned a cat but I have pet sit a few before and they loved me. Plus there are cats in my neighborhood that love to visit everyone and I help take care of them. I sometimes feed them, pet them, and give them water. I have had like one cat hate me but then was when I was younger and I was probably annoying the crap out of it. So I think that is why that cat hated me. But other than that I still love cats.

    I think those are the only three pets I would get. I think that when I am older I will probably change my mind. But for now these are the three I would want. I also think that I would probably adopt more dogs and cats. The dog I have now is adopted and he is the sweetest dog ever plus we got him when he was 8 and he is 13 now. So I might check back in the future, if I remember that I have this account, and see if this becomes true.
